Hatch Green X Hot - Rattlesnake Green Chile – (Capsicum annuum)

Rattlesnake Green Chile is a spicy Hatch-type pepper developed in New Mexico by the Lytle family, descendants of Big Jim creator Jim Lytle. It delivers classic Hatch flavor with noticeably more heat, without becoming overpowering. Plants are vigorous and high-yielding, growing 30–48 inches tall and producing thick-walled pods 4–8 inches long. Peppers ripen from green to red and are excellent for roasting, stuffing, sauces, and salsas. Green pods offer traditional Hatch flavor, while red pods bring deeper heat and richness. Heat is hotter than jalapeños but still very usable. A great choice for growers who want authentic Hatch flavor with an extra kick.
