The classic butterbean of the South, but early enough to mature by mid-summer in the North. Compact plants are rugged and upright, setting pods high off the ground for ease of harvest. Bears continuously until frost, with each pod filled with 3 to 4 plump, flavorful seeds. Very similar to Henderson’s, except plants are shorter and pale green seeds are deeper green.
